Aster House is located on the newly renovated, walkable, tree-lined Court Street corridor. We are also the only Downtown event space that offers convenient and ample public parking within a few yards of our space that is readily available for our event goers.
At Aster House, we understand that every event is unique. That's why we can offer you a minimum rental time of 3 hours with no maximum limit, allowing you the flexibility to create the perfect event, tailored to your specific needs and preferences.

About Aster House
Our History
Aster House will be making its’ debut in June 2024. It started as a saloon in 1850 with its’ owners occupying the top floor and later became the location of the first JC Penney store in Watertown as well as a hardware store, a premier photo shop, even a restaurant supply store. We have brought it back full circle to a premier event space to be known as Aster House.
Our Facilities
We have made our event space a truly multi-functional space for almost any type of event. We have carefully chosen finishes that can be easily decorated for events of any kind. We have developed it into a space that can be used for formal events, or a music venue to a fun place to have a birthday bounce house party. The options for this space are limitless!
Our Owners
The Bradley family have been supporters of Downtown Watertown for forty-plus years. Always respecting its very long history, with the help of one of our area’s most respected quality-conscious builders, they have achieved their goal of restoring their portion of the Court Street corridor.
Ever mindful of the rich history of what they believe are 4 of the few remaining early 19th century buildings in the entire downtown area, over the past 30 years they have painstakingly restored these gems with the finest details to truly reflect their very rich history. They feel that the end results of their years of work and planning assure you the ability to have a little bit of history with some wonderful lofts and retail spaces along with a truly multi-functional space in “Aster House” that can fit your unique needs for any of your special events.
